Programs

Due to COVID-19, some of our programs are limited. Please contact for further information.

We Feed The Hungry Outreach

Every Wednesday, rain or shine, My Friend’s House Foundation staff and volunteers serve people in the community in need of a meal, additional food, clothing, toiletries and auxiliary resources as we have them available. We have served over 750,000 people to date.

Community Boutique

We have a resale store that is open five days a week. New or gently used items are available for purchase at a nominal cost. The proceeds are recycled back into the Skid Row community. We also partner with other organizations by supplying attire for Dress for Success Programs and local Prison Recidivism Programs.

The Refresh Program

Every 1st & 3rd Monday of the month, low/no cost salon and barber services are provided by licensed professional hair stylists, barbers and manicurists.

River Rose Pet Foundation

We care for the pets of low-income individuals, families and those experiencing homelessness by supplying wellness check-ups, food, clothing and toys for their Pets.

Another Look

In partnership with a local designer, several times through-out the year, we select someone who has transitioned from homelessness into their own apartment and we make-over a space (room) within their new residence.

Prayer Call

Every Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m. PST, we host a call for those that need prayer, encouragement or simply want to be a part of a community of faith.

The Blessings Cafe

We provide meals-to-go to the Skid Row community at The Center location.

The Center

The community can visit with us for service provider referrals, to take part in music therapy, chess game challenges, life-skills classes and programs that support self-sufficiency and more.
